We are weeks away from the reopening, working hard for early June 2024! The renovation is almost complete and is very emotional to see our little Bistro come back to life after 18 months from the devastating flood. After 5 years from our opening in 2019, we are ready for the newborn La Sicilyana 2024!

The renovation has finally started and the second phase of repairs at our Bistro will be taken care by Graham Moore Builders, Blairgowrie. Like 5 years ago, the building will go under a major renovation to reinstate the look and feel of our little Sicily. We are working hard and feeling confident that the reopening should happen for late Spring, new menu, new wines but the usual warm welcome!

Finally, we will soon be undertaking the first phase of repairs at our Bistro, namely strip out, to be undertaken by Graham Moore Builders, Blairgowrie. This will allow time for the building to dry out with various tests being made before we can rebuild our beloved little Sicily, La Sicilyana.

We are at the Scone Palace Game Fair – 30th June
Find us in the food hall at the Game Fair at the end of June, we will be offering tasters of our award winning range of wines along with some new additions that have just arrived. Come and say hi, we would love to meet you.

Yes, it’s true, today we were forced to close our beautiful little Sicilian bistro due to escape of water from the empty property above. This led to severe flooding which left us unable to open until further notice. 
As the extent of the damage is considerable, it will take some time to put everything back together where we expect this to be completed between July and October later this year.
In the meantime, we are looking to relocate to temporary premises as soon as possible where we will continue to freshly cook all your favourite dishes including our stone baked Pizza, Pasta as well as offering our ever popular Sicilian cakes, desserts and let’s not forget our home roasted coffee, voted by you as the best coffee in Perth and beyond. More about that will be shown here on our newsletter page in due course.
We are overwhelmed and humbled by telephone calls, emails and even flowers delivered to us showing your support whilst we go through this turbulent time, thank you! Whilst the flood damage may have dampened our spirits, we remain very upbeat, especially with all the kind gestures that have been shown to us and our staff.
As said and echoed by many a resident, “you are a true hub to the community and most definitely wanted and needed”
