Before you order our wines online

Legal Drinking Age
It is an offence to buy or attempt to buy alcohol if you are under the age of 18. It is also an offence for any person to buy or attempt to buy alcohol on behalf of that person being under the age of 18.

La Sicilyana will not knowingly sell or deliver alcohol to any person under the age of 18 or who appears to be under the age of 18.

Challenge 25
La Sicilyana operate a challenge 25 scheme. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, our drivers and staff have been trained to ask for photographic ID. This can be in the form of either a drivers licence, Passport or a PASS card issued by the “Proof of age standards scheme”.

In the event no proof of age can be shown on delivery, the goods will be returned to us and an alternative delivery date will be rearranged. If on the second delivery attempt the recipient appears to be under the age of 18 or within the challenge 25 rule, where no ID can be provided, goods will be returned to us, after which a refund less any reasonable delivery and administration costs that have been incurred. Any balance will then be refunded back to your card that was used for payment at time of order.

Quality Control
If any wine is found to be corked through no fault of the recipient or indeed La Sicilyana, we will arrange for a full refund which will be individually assessed taking into account the room temperature, correct storage facilities, preferably in darkness and away from direct sunlight. If you believe a wine to be faulty, you must email us at laura@lasicilyanawines.co.uk enclosing your order number within the subject line . You will be liable for the safe return of the wine. We would suggest a tracking service to ensure safe receipt to ourselves. We will then arrange for the wine to be tested and ultimately, any refund given where appropriate. Your statutory rights are not affected.

When you order

Payments Accepted
We accept all major forms of credit cards to include Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Online payments are made using a secure payment encryption.

Description and Prices
Description and prices are clearly set out within our web site. We reserve the right to change our prices without notice. Prices issued to our latest price list will supersede any other prices set out elsewhere should they be different.

Stock Control
We try to ensure all our wines are displayed correctly in terms of availability, price and description, however, many items go out of stock quicker than we can update them online. In the event a wine ordered is out of stock, we will contact you to advise you so and offer a similar alternative both in quality and price.

Receipt of Goods
We will aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours of receipt. You should also allow sufficient time for our couriers delivery lead time which can be up to 10 working days. We cannot be held responsible if there is a delay in the couriers lead time that is outwith our control although every effort will be made to ensure this does not happen.

Damages and Breakages
In the unlikely event any of our products ordered arrive with you damaged, you should notify us within 24 hours by email to laura@lasicilyanawines.co.uk enclosing your order number within the subject line explaining which, if not all of the goods have been damaged, along with photographic evidence. We will replace or exchange damaged goods only. Where a refund is preferred, La Sicilyana will credit your account with the price you paid for the damaged goods or a proportionate amount of the total order value representing a proportionate amount of the damaged contents, upon us receiving the returned damaged items back. Where a return is not possible due to for example a surmisable amount of damage, photographic evidence must be provided and sent via email before any refund can be considered.

Cancellations
You may cancel your order for any reason and at anytime from within 7 days of receipt of goods provided all of the items are unopened and intact. To do so you must notify us by email to laura@lasicilyanawines.co.uk enclosing your order number within the subject line. It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the delivered items in your possession until we are able to collect it. Any products uplifted should be in their original packaging to avoid further damage unless otherwise agreed.

Our Contract with you.
All goods will remain the property of La Sicilyana until payment is received in full and delivery has been made to the agreed delivery address.

Delivery Charges and Areas Covered
We cover all mainland UK addresses. Orders of £150.00 or more Incl. vat (excluding delivery charge) will be delivered free of charge. Orders below £150.00 will be subject to a delivery charge which will be shown at checkout.

Terms and Conditions – Bistro

Loyalty Card Rewards (Sunny Points) – Bistro only
Sunny points is the name given to our loyalty card incentive scheme available within the Bistro only. Points are calculated after any discounts or reductions are taken off.
• Earn 1 Sunny point for every £1 spent.
• 1 point has an equivalent value of .03 pence
• Every 100 Sunny points = £3.00
• To earn points you must be registered as a Loyalty Card user.
• Sunny points can only be collected and used within our Bistro at 20-22 Perth Rd, Scone PH2 6JJ
• There is no fee in becoming a loyalty card user.
• Sunny Points have no cash value. No cash alternative is available.

To redeem your points
• Present your card at point of purchase before making any payment.
• Points can be redeemed at anytime against any products purchased within the Bistro or when you dine in and offset against your bill.
• Points can not be added after a bill payment has been made.
• Any gift vouchers or discount offers/codes must be declared and presented before any sunny points can be added to your account.
• Sunny points can also be accumulated to use towards any promotional offers that we may run from time to time.
• Points are personal to the individual Member and cannot be pooled with points earned by another member and redeemed together.
• Your loyalty card is not a credit card, charge card or debit card. You cannot transfer your card nor any points stored on it to any other person. Your card remains the property of La Sicilyana at all times.
• We reserve the right to alter or cancel the Sunny point scheme or indeed terminate the Loyalty Card programme in it’s entirety without prior notice and for whatever reason La Sicilyana sees fit.
• Lost or stolen loyalty cards will incur a £3.00 admin fee towards a replacement card.
• We reserve the right to terminate your loyalty card and any sunny points associated to it should your account remain inactive after a period of 18 months.

Terms and Conditions – La Sicilyana App

Loyalty App Rewards (Sunny Points) – online App
Sunny points is the name given to our loyalty app incentive scheme available for use through the app only. Points are calculated on your order minus any delivery charges and can be used across all items listed within the app.
• Earn 1 Sunny point for every £1 spent.
• 1 point has an equivalent value of .03 pence
• Every 100 Sunny points = £3.00
• To earn points you must be registered as a Loyalty App user. To do this you will need to download the app and create an account along with a password unique to yourself.
• Sunny points can only be collected and used through the app, they cannot be pooled or added to our loyalty card scheme used within the Bistro.
• Sunny points cannot be collected nor redeemed against any offers or voucher codes that we may promote periodically.
• There is no fee in becoming a loyalty App user. Registration is free.
• Sunny Points have no cash value. No cash alternative is available.

• When at checkout, you will see Sunny points pending against your order as well as any Sunny points accumulated from previous orders that can be redeemed.
• Points can be redeemed at anytime against any products purchased within the app.
• Points can not be added after a bill payment has been made.
